Adult Structural Interventional Fellowship

The Structural Interventional Fellowship at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a one-year non-ACGME fellowship within the Division of Cardiology. This fellowship offers advanced training in adult structural and valve intervention for those who have successfully completed their interventional fellowship.

Clinical Experience

Our Adult Structural Program provides exceptional training and hands-on experience in a wide range of structural interventions. Aurora St Luke’s Medical Center is a high-volume facility that performs a variety of procedures including percutaneous valve replacement (aortic, mitral, tricuspid and pulmonary), transcatheter edge to edge repair (mitral and tricuspid), balloon valvuloplasty, ASD/PFO/VSD closure, left atrial appendage closure, and paravalvular leak repair. The program offers experience with transcatheter repair of adult congenital heart disease including alcohol septal ablations for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Fellows will also get experience in advanced peripheral vascular intervention including percutaneous thrombectomy. Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a major center for aortic disease performing complex thoracic and abdominal endovascular repairs. We also participate in the latest clinical trials involving valvular intervention. The fellow will work alongside the structural heart team and participate in weekly structural conference.
